Sold under Gross Margin Scheme
Ressence, founded by Belgian designer Benoit Mintiens, specializing in creating contemporary watches that display the time without the use of the hands. Instead the time is displayed by satellite discs that indicate the hours, minutes, seconds, date and day by rotating around the dial.
The Ressence Type 1 Slim was introduced in 2019, and it is basically a slimmed down version of most other watches in their catalogue.
It has a monobloc titanium case that measures 42mm in diameter and 11mm in hight. It is tonneau shaped and does not have any lugs. The Type 1 Slim does not have a traditional crown, winding and time setting is done via the case back.
The time is indicated by their signature Ressence Orbital Convex System (ROCS) that is made up of over 10 components, with the entire dial rotating on itself and each sub dial making small revolutions to display the hour, minute, second and day of the week.
The Ressence Type 1 Slim is powered by a modified ETA 2892 calibre
