The Laurent Ferrier has been one of the forefront name in classical watchmaking, with details inspired by 19th and mid 20th century fine Swiss watchmaking. After their first watch, the Double Spiral Tourbillon and their second that is the Micro-Rotor, Laurent Ferrier introduced the Classic Origin in 2020, also to commemorate the brand’s 10th anniversary.
The case measures at 40mm in diameter with 11mm thickness in Grade 5 Titanium, it is paired with the distinct onion-shaped crown by Laurent Ferrier.
The dial is silvery-white opaline dial with drop shaped applied indexes at 12, 3 and 9. It is framed with a slate grey painted minute track with burgundy coloured numerals.
The Classic Origin features a brand new Cal. LF 116.01 manual winding movement with Swiss lever escapement and has a solid 80 hour power reserve. The finishing is impeccable as expected from Laurent Ferrier. The edges are hand beveled and polished with contemporary sandblasted finish bridges.
