The Blancpain Bathyscape is a modern interpretation of the Fifty Fathoms, Blancpain’s infamous divers watch from the 1950s. The case measures at 43mm in diameter with a 13.5mm thickness in Stainless Steel. The dial is sunburst grey color with applied indexes filled with Luminova, and it has a date window at 4.30. It features a uni-directional rotating bezel, a feature useful to easily keep track of time especially for divers.
Powering the Bathyscape is the Cal. 1315 with 227 component and a long 120 hour power reserve. It also features a silicon balance spring protecting the watch from magnetic disruptions.
