The DBS was first introduced in 2005 for the first “Only Watch” auction. For the first time featuring the inverted movement, that later on becomes the foundation of the likes of DB28 that now becomes the flagship model of the brand, and a completely new case design.
It has a unique horseshoe shaped case in 18K White Gold, with two conventional ogival lower lugs and a flexible metal wrap around the crown at 12. The case measures 42.5mm wide and 51mm lug to lug.
The anthracite coloured inverted movement features the iconic delta shaped bridge, staggered mainspring barrels, balance and triple-pare-chute antishock bridge and the signature spherical moon phase.
At the back there is an engraving of the De Bethune crest and a small cutout window displaying the power reserve indicator.
