Sold under Gross Margin Scheme
Panerai started off as a Swiss watch retailer based in Florence, Italy. And in the 1930s together with Rolex, they supplied timekeeping instruments for the Italian Navy’s Frogmen. One of the earliest example dating from 1936 has an unsigned dial with a mix of Roman and Arabic numerals, as well as stick indexes and inverted triangle at 12. This dial is known as the California dial.
In 2012, Panerai introduced a tribute to the Radiomir California dial and for the first time to be fitted with their in-house P3000 movement with 3 days power reserve. Measuring large at 47mm it is faithful to the original design.
