The Breguet 7037 was introduced in 2006, one year after the 7027, paying tribute to Abraham Louis Breguet’s “souscription” pocket watch in the 18th century. For the first time, powered by a self-winding movement.
Measuring at 38mm it is 1mm larger than the classic 7027. It also has an almost identical design to the 7027, with an interesting retrograde second hand on the left side of the dial.
At the back, the Cal. 505SR is dominated by a hand decorated hammer shaped winding rotor. And as it is with the dial side of the watch, it is beautifully done and dominated with frosted finish.
