The Reverso was born in 1931, designed to withstand polo matches of British Army officers in India, recognisable with its rectangular reversible case with art-deco aesthetic. It was reborn in 1991 for their 60th anniversary and it has become a favourite for collectors for its unique design and even the complication it carries.
The Reverso 1931 is a series of tribute to the original Reverso with a design faithful to the original. What we have here took the inspiration from Jaeger LeCoultre’s archive. It has an 18K Rose Gold case with a flat chocolate unsigned dial with only the word “REVERSO” printed just on top of the second counter. It comes with a burgundy coloured cordovan strap from Argentinian polo boot maker, Casa Fagliano.

The watch is in mint condition with virtually no sign of wear. The movement runs and functions well at the time of testing.
