The Reverso was born in 1931, designed to withstand polo matches of British Army officers in India, recognisable with its rectangular reversible case with art-deco aesthetic.
Launched in 1991, the reference 270.2.64 was the first Reverso made in the Grande Taille “medium” size as a 500 piece limited edition. It was the beginning of the series of 6 limited edition Reverso created between 1991-2000.
Despite the conservative size in today’s standard at 42.5mm x 26.5mm, it was much bigger than the previous generation Reverso. The center of the dial is guilloche finished with a date track around it. It also has a power reserve indicator between 10-12 with a different guiloche pattern.
It is powered by the Cal. 824 that can be admired on the flip side of this Reverso. It was specially created for this model and it is beautiful in 14K rose gold.
