Established in 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, MING is a “horological collective” formed by six enthusiast from around the world under the leadership of Ming Thein, a photographer and a watch enthusiast. With their original and innovative design language and its affordability, MING gained popularity and loyal following. And their creation have been recognised by the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie in many occasion.
Aside from the pieces that is released publicly, MING has what they called “Special Projects Cave”, an invitation only concept where special pieces are created, from showing and experimenting different material and finish up to high-end complication, such as flyback chronograph and tourbillon.
The Ming 20.09 Tourbillon is a very exclusive 10 pieces subscription piece that carries out a lot of design details that gives it a spectacular overall appearance. It has its Mosaic, HyCeram embedded sapphire, sapphire crystal hands, bicolour bridges etc. The case profile is adorned by a skeletonised and DLC finished titanium case ring. It come with an titanium bracelet that is made exclusively for this Tourbillon.
The Ming 20.09 Tourbillon is powered by the Cal. TSE.M1 self-winding flying tourbillon movement based on Schwarz Etienne Cal. TSE 121.00 that is modified to MING’s specification and design.
