The World Time is a Patek Philippe icon that often overlooked. It has an over 90 years of history, dating back to the 1930s when Louis Cottier created a watch movement with a capability to show 24 different timezone at the same time.

The 5110 was launched in the year 2000 making it the first World Time after the legendary ref. 2523 from the 1950s. Now fitted with a self-winding Cal. 240HU (Heure Universelle), micro-rotor movement with an easy to use adjuster at 10.
