The reference 5212A was introduced in 2019, a stainless steel Calatrava with an unusual complication, a weekly calendar.

A stainless steel Calatrava is a rarity, as in the past 10 years there were only less than a handful stainless steel Calatrava ever made, and most of them are limited edition.

The case is inspired by an unusual large Calatrava ref. 2512 with 46mm diameter that was sold by Sotheby’s in 2012. It has a complex stepped lugs and sandwich case with a classic 40mm diameter.

The dial is also vintage inspired with a silvery opaline coloured dial with blackened gold applied hour markers and hands. It has two additional hands with a flat red tip displaying the day of the week, month and the weekly calendar, as well as a date window at 3. What makes it highly unique is the font used on the calendar, which is almost like a handwritten font.

It is powered by the Cal. 26-330 S C J SE automatic movement with 45 hours power reserve.
