In 1986, Audemars Piguet introduced the reference 14470, a 30mm Royal Oak that for the first time fitted with a self-winding calibre. It was produced and sold all the way until 2003 with different material and variation.

The white gold version were being sold in the 1990s, highlighted with black dials, some with tappiserie and some with flat black dial and 11 diamond hour-markers like this example here.

It is also very rare, with only 90 pieces of the 14470BC ever produced between 1991 to 1998.
